A recipe for global success? Potentially.
Things are bubbling along nicely though.
Two Teaspoons was set up by Becky Beasley in 2012 and has been providing catering services to individuals and businesses, and nurturing the culinary talents of the younger members of society, ever since.
Becky can’t really remember a time when cooking hasn’t been a major part of her life. It was after university, when she worked for Fresh & Wild (now Whole Foods Market), the organic grocers, that her love of food developed into something more life-changing.
At the time she was also running art workshops for children, so the two worlds merged together and Two Teaspoons was born. Many classes and lots of washing up later (having two boys who are expert washer uppers has helped no end) the idea and passion is still going strong.
Today, Two Teaspoons caters for 13 nursery schools in London and the south east, cooking for over 500 children every week. Add to this running regular cookery classes, hosting parties for all ages and participating in charity events for the Wimbledon Guild - the stove’s never been busier.
