Serving up top-notch nursery meals for over eight years. We never tire of filling little tummies.
Creating interesting, nutritious meals packed full of fresh ingredients and exciting flavours.
At Two Teaspoons, we are passionate about inspiring children to develop a love of healthy food. Our innovative menus feature a variety of seasonal, vegetarian dishes from soulful soups to hearty stews, rich pasta dishes to chunky chillis, all made from simple, unprocessed ingredients.
Our dishes are packed full of fresh vegetables, planet-positive pulses and simple grains - in any given week, children enjoying our meals will eat over 30 different fruit and vegetables and at least seven different grains and pulses, all cooked as you would at home, only in bigger pans! We prep, we chop, we stir, we taste - we take our time cooking all our meals entirely from scratch.
A bespoke service for each nursery school.
We communicate with nursery teams and parents about any food issues, be it SEN or health related, and offer an alternative meal for their children. We offer meal options to suit all dietary requirements, intolerances and allergies. We are firm believers in the importance and social aspect of mealtimes and would hate for any children to miss out on eating with their friends.
Detailed menus, photos and meal descriptions are supplied monthly to share with families and social media platforms. And we’re always happy to provide recipes to parents keen to have a go at cooking our dishes at home.
We speak with nursery teams regularly to ensure we are up to date with all food related information and feedback, we also visit each site to support and educate on food safety. Food safety is the foundation of everything we do, from only using accredited suppliers, to delivering our meals in our temperature-controlled van.
Committed to doing business responsibly.
We source the very best ingredients from suppliers we trust, be it our local greengrocer who delivers our fresh fruit and veg every day, to sustainable cooperatives specialising in British produce. Cooking for little children means we think about their future and we take the challenge of making as little environmental impact as possible very seriously. Read our Values page for more information on our continued sustainability efforts.
